Online Open Evening

A brief, practical online introduction to Beaufort House School. These sessions are designed to help families understand the model clearly, ask direct questions, and decide whether it's worth taking the next step.

What it is

Live online session led by the founder

Small group format, private (registration required)

Up to 45 minutes

Joining details sent by email to registered attendees

What it's for

This is not a sales presentation. It's a clear overview of how the school works and what the culture expects from learners and families. If it feels aligned, the next step is usually a short family visit.

Children's Business Fair

A one day marketplace where children launch a small business: real products, real customers, real learning.

What it is

This fair gives children the chance to build and run a small business for a day. They create an offer, decide pricing, practise presenting it clearly, and learn by selling to the public in a supportive environment.

Who it's for

Spark Studio

Ages 4 to 7

Simple offers, simple pricing, small responsibility - supported appropriately

Discovery Studio

Ages 8 to 11

Stronger ownership, clearer pitch, deeper iteration and feedback

(Older / younger siblings can participate if the child is doing the work - see rules below.)

The rule that makes it real

This is a children’s event. Parents can support quietly - especially for younger children - but children should handle setup, customer interaction, and sales. If a parent is found selling or promoting the product at the booth, the child’s business may be disqualified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a school admissions event?

No. It’s a standalone community event. It does, however, reflect the kind of responsibility and real work we value.

Can parents help?

Yes, quietly. Children should run the stall and do the selling as much as possible.

What if two children have similar ideas?

That’s part of real markets. Children learn to differentiate through quality, presentation, and customer service.

Do I need a “perfect” business idea to apply?

No. We prefer simple ideas executed well.

Where do I apply?

On the official event page (button above).
